Examinations are given only during the scheduled examination period; faculty members are not authorized to change this schedule. Exceptions may be authorized only by the faculty member's dean's office.
Examinations are scheduled according to the day and hour of the first meeting of the course each week and, as possible, held in the regular assigned meeting room. In the event of conflicts, the Office of the University Registrar (UREG) will assign alternate rooms. If a class time is not listed in the Exam Schedule, please follow the time block that corresponds to the class’s start time. For example, if a class starts at 8:30AM follow the 8:00-8:50AM (M, W, or F) course time or the 8:00-9:15AM (T or R) course time. Please check SIS for the exam date, time, and location.
For days designated "To Be Arranged" (TBA) or courses which fall outside this grid, examination dates must be established, and instructors should contact UREG at [email protected] to schedule their exam. TBA times should be finalized before the first day of classes for the term. Prior to the start of the term, UREG will contact instructors who have a TBA exam time.
Student-scheduled and student-centered events including awards ceremonies, end of semester concerts, sports competition, and other events are prohibited from the day that exams begin through the last exam in any semester.
